A cheerful girl, Marie, from a family of Russian immigrants in France, falls in love with a Muscovite Pavel and decides to fly to Russia, giving him a surprise for his birthday. Unexpectedly, she becomes an intern at the event agency where Pavel works, and saves several major events. It's not easy for Marie to live in the frenzied rhythm of the Russian metropolis, but still she stays. Romantic relationships are bound to have difficulties, but Marie's new friends will always come to the rescue.

Four friends take a road trip to kick back, hit the pubs, and go surfing. Tension builds among the group between Sandy, a quiet young man who is angered by the obnoxious, womanizing Boo who seduces a teenaged girl while on their trip in one of his usual one night stands. Meanwhile, the girl's psychotic dad is also looking for Boo out of revenge for what he did to his daughter. Boo is in for a major wake up call.

During the summer break, Jun-hee gives Soon-young a ride home from her part-time job after he gets done at the learning center. As Jun-hee and Soon-young spend more time together, Soon-young asks Jun-hee things about Dong-kyun. Soon-young learns Dong-kyun’s birthday is coming up and asks Jun-hee not to hang out with Dong-kyun, but Jun-hee ignores her. On Dong-kyun’s birthday, Soon-young catches Jun-hee and Dong-kyun hanging out together.
